My Base is for people who want a place of their own on the web—a blog that does not disappear into a feed, a home for photographs or creative work, or a profile that brings everything together.

It uses WordPress core blocks and the Site Editor. There is no separate setup screen and no third-party plugin dependency.

02 / Starter patterns

Choose what
you want to make.

Pick a starter from WordPress’s standard pattern selector to create a one-page foundation, then replace the example content with your own.

  • Blog: Writing BaseAn introduction, recent posts, topics, and a short profile.

Three ways to
set the mood.

Natural and Dark are WordPress style variations. They use the same templates and patterns as Simple, so you can switch the overall look without rebuilding the page.

6畳のこと (“Life in Six Tatami Mats”) is a finished personal website built with If-Thema My Base and the Natural style: a fictional resident writing about daily life and small objects in a six-tatami room. Unlike the design demos, this is one real, running WordPress site, with its own photos, posts, and pages.
